The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) has charged Wilkie Arthur, of
Millennium Highway, Providenciales, with Doing Acts Tending to Pervert the Course of
Public Justice.
The charge follows an investigation by the Serious Crime Unit into allegations that a document
was submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions purporting to indicate that a
complainant wished to withdraw an ongoing criminal matter.
The Initial criminal matter relates to allegations of sending threatening letters to kill made
against the complainant in March 2026. That matter remains before the Supreme Court.
Arthur was charged and cautioned on 8 October 2026 and is scheduled to appear before the
Magistrate’s Court on 9 October 2026.
As the matter is now before the courts, no further comment will be made.
