On Wednesday, March 27th, 2019 Carlos Pena and Alex Cruesta were
sentenced at the Supreme Court for the fatal shooting of Garry Meade.
Meade was killed and robbed of a large sum of cash after exiting a casino on the Airport Road, September 30th, 2016.
Following investigations, Carlos Pena and Alex Cruesta were arrested and charged.
Both men appeared in the Supreme court where Pena pleaded guilty to manslaughter and sentenced to 15 years and 3 months at Her Majesty’s
Prison, while
Cruesta pleaded guilty to one count of keeping a firearm and one count
of keeping ammunition, was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months at
Her Majesty’s Prison.
Deportation is recommended, upon completion of sentences for both.
