The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF), through its Traffic Enforcement Unit, in collaboration with the TCI Border Force, conducted a targeted traffic operation on Friday, 30 January 2026.

This operation formed part of the Force’s ongoing efforts to enhance road safety, enforce traffic laws, and reduce risks to motorists and pedestrians.

During the 30 January operation, officers conducted a total of THIRTY-SIX (36) traffic checks, resulting in the issuance of NINETEEN (19) traffic tickets, along with other enforcement actions.

Additionally, on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, the Traffic Enforcement Unit carried out FIFTY-FIVE (55) traffic checks, which resulted in TWENTY-FOUR (24) traffic tickets being issued.
The RT&CIPF reminds motorists that traffic enforcement operations will continue.

Drivers are urged to ensure their vehicles are roadworthy, properly licensed and insured, and fully compliant with all traffic regulations.
Drivers and passengers are also reminded to always wear seat belts.
