At 4:06 pm today (Wednesday 08th May 2024), the Police Control Room received reports of gunshots being heard along Fisheries Road, Five Cays, Providenciales.
Head of Crime, Safeguarding, Public Protection and Intelligence Superintendent Dean Holden, who is currently at the scene, said: “Officers and a medical team were dispatched to the given location and one male who appeared to be shot was found motionless.
The victim has been identified, but his name is being withheld whilst all family members are traced and informed.
The RTCIPF asks the public to notify the closest police station, contact 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, and anonymously give any information on this incident.
