Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey yesterday (29th October) visited several storm shelters across Providenciales and extended commendation to those on the ground, including shelter managers and technocrats from various partner agencies, for their dedication and service. 

The Commissioner’s visits included the Oseta Jolly Primary School, Thelma Lightbourne Primary School, A. Louise Garland High School, Enid Capron Primary School, All Saints Church, and the New Testament Church of God.  

During his tour, Commissioner Bailey reaffirmed the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force’s commitment to ensuring public safety, noting that officers have been strategically  deployed at all shelter locations to provide security and support. He further lauded the collaborative efforts of all agencies and individuals working tirelessly to safeguard TCI’s well being during the storm. 

Acting Assistant Commissioner Dwight Gardiner visited both the Grace Bay Police Post and the Chalk Sound Police Station to assess the welfare of officers on duty. During his visits, ACP  Gardiner expressed his gratitude to the officers for their unwavering commitment, dedication, and service to the people of the TCI. He commended their professionalism and resilience, particularly during this period of heightened readiness.
