On March 7th, 2026, Crime Stoppers Turks and Caicos hosted its inaugural 5K Run/Walk,
bringing members of the community together in support of the fight against crime.


The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force delivered a strong performance at the event,
with officers securing places among the top three finishers in both the male and female
categories.


In the male category, Constable Travis Francis placed second, while Acting Superintendent
Grantley Williams, Head of the Serious Crime, Safeguarding and Public Protection Unit,
finished third. In the female category, Constable Sashana Carter secured third place.

Officers from several units within the Force, including Tactical, Serious Crime, Information
Technology, 911, Communications, and the Forensic Unit participated in the event,
demonstrating solidarity with Crime Stoppers and forming the largest contingent present.


Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey and Acting Deputy Commissioner Kendall Grant were also
among the officers who took part, highlighting the Force’s strong support for its Crime Stoppers
partners and the collective effort to strengthen community safety.
