THE ROYAL TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS POLICE FORCE

Service with Pride and Integrity

For Emergency, Call 9-1-1

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) is urging members of the public to exercise greater caution when securing their vehicles, following a concerning increase in reports of vehicle interference across the Islands on both private and public property.

You are reminded to:

Unfortunately, we are seeing a worrying trend where criminals are taking advantage of vehicles left unsecured or with items visible inside. We are asking the public to take responsibility in safeguarding their property by adopting these simple but effective precautions.

If you are a victim of vehicle interference or theft, immediately contact 911 or the nearest police station. Do not enter the vehicle or touch anything, as this may interfere with potential evidence crucial to the investigation.

We also encourage the public to immediately report any suspicious activity anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or download the Crime Stoppers P3 app and share information.
