A male suspect detained in the Dominican Republic was deported to the Turks and Caicos Islands on 16th November 2025, where he was taken into custody upon arrival at the Howard Hamilton International Airport.

JAEL De JESUS RIGBY, 19, of Providenciales, who was detained by Dominican Republic law enforcement agents, was charged shortly after midday today (21st November 2025) by officers of the Serious Crime Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force.
Rigby has been charged with:
• One count of Murder
• One count of Discharging a Firearm
• One count of Conspiracy to Possess Firearms with Intent to Injury
These charges stemmed from a shooting incident that occurred at the Island Hookah Lounge on Sunday, 27th July 2025.
