The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) is currently undertaking a
comprehensive review of its Information Technology (IT) platform used for the issuance of
police records.
This review forms part of a broader effort to modernize existing systems and ensure that service
delivery aligns with current demands and best international practices. The review has assessed
the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of the current arrangement, with a view toward
implementing a more streamlined and technologically advanced process.
Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey has engaged the Government, and discussions are ongoing
with key stakeholders, including the Attorney General’s Office, to explore legislative and
operational changes that will support a more cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable model for
the future.
