The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) is investigating a structure fire
that occurred during the early hours today (March 9th).
At approximately 3:13 a.m., the Command Centre received a report of multiple structures on fire
in the vicinity of Hanco Close, Blue Hills.
Emergency services, including Fire and Rescue, responded promptly to the scene. The fire has
since been extinguished.
Several individuals have been affected due to the loss of their homes. Two persons sustained
non-life-threatening injuries because of the incident and were medically examined.
The Turks and Caicos Islands Red Cross has been engaged to provide humanitarian assistance
and is currently conducting assessments to determine the needs of those impacted.
