THE ROYAL TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS POLICE FORCE

Service with Pride and Integrity

For Emergency, Call 9-1-1

Constables Zaoris Martinez and Chevorn Bishop of the Grand Turk Police Station were actively
engaged across the island on 12 April, combining patrol duties with meaningful community
interaction.

The officers spent time connecting with residents, participating in a friendly basketball game at
the H.J Robinson High School court, visiting Governor’s Beach, and even learning local fishing
techniques from community members.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stolen rental vehicle that had been left
on the compound of the JAGS McCartney International Airport. Following patrols in the
surrounding areas, the vehicle was successfully recovered in the North Ridge district.

We are reminding rental vehicle operators to implement secure key handover procedures.

Leaving keys inside vehicles significantly increases the risk of theft.

Officers are currently on duty conducting patrols and traffic checks across Grand Turk to further
enhance public safety and visibility.
