Officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force Serious Crime Unit were at the scene of a suspected homicide in Blue Hills, Providenciales.
Shortly after 2 pm today (September 8), the Police Control Room received reports of gunshots in an area along Church Avenue.
Officers and medical personnel were dispatched to the given location, and upon arrival, the lifeless body of a male was discovered.
This remains an active investigation.
The RT&CIPF is asking anyone with information that may help in this investigation to contact the closest police station, 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 8477 to provide any information anonymously.
