The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) has formally charged 21-year-old MARLON GARDINER Jr., of South Back Salina, Grand Turk, with multiple serious offences arising from incidents reported on Friday, 14th November 2025.
Gardiner has been charged with:
∙ Three (3) counts of Kidnapping
∙ Two (2) counts of False Imprisonment
∙ One (1) count of Rape
∙ Two (2) counts of Attempting to Strangle in Order to Commit an Offence ∙ One (1) count of Malicious Damage to Property
Following investigations and legal guidance received from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), Gardiner was arrested on suspicion of the offences on Sunday, 16th November 2025, and formally charged yesterday (18th November).
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Magistrate’s Court, Grand Turk, tomorrow (20th November 2025).
Investigations were conducted by officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Grand Turk.
