Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department, The Tactical Unit and Response and Operations executed a series of search warrants on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019. Officers entered a home in Five Cays, Providenciales and during the search, a number of illegal drugs namely, Cannabis (159.8 grams) and cocaine (3.3 grams) were recovered. Also found was an illegal firearm, loaded with 13 rounds of ammunition. A 40-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were taken into custody. The items were seized and investigations are ongoing.
TWO MEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO BOUTIQUE ROBBERY
Two men, a 26-year-old and a 23-year-old were arrested on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019, on Suspicion of Robbery, following reports of gunmen entering a Boutique along the Airport Road on November 5th, 2019. Officers executed a search warrant at a home in Madame Molly Yard at 4:41 a.m., Kew Town, Providenciales and seized a total of four cellular phones for investigational purposes.
