MARLON GARDINER Jr., of Grand Turk, was yesterday sentenced to H.M. Prison-Home of the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation, following a guilty verdict delivered on 25 April 2025.
Gardiner Jr. was found guilty of:
- Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm
- Malicious Damage to Property
He was given a 12-month suspended sentence and placed on eighteen (18) months’ probation with several conditions, one of which was “Not to be arrested and charged during this probation period”. This was breached.

On November 16, 2025, he was arrested and subsequently charged following investigations.
As a result, Gardiner Jr., was taken before the Grand Turk Magistrate Court on Thursday 04th December 2025 for a breach of his existing probation, where he was sentenced as follows:
- Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm – (12) months imprisonment.
- Malicious Damage to Property- (8) months imprisonment.
- Breach of Probation Order- (12) months imprisonment.
Additionally, Gardiner Jr. is scheduled to appear before the Supreme Court in Grand Turk on January 9, 2026, for a Sufficiency Hearing.
He is charged with:
- Three (3) counts of Kidnapping
- Two (2) counts of False Imprisonment
- One (1) count of Rape
- Two (2) counts of Attempting to Strangle in Order to Commit an Offence
- One (1) count of Malicious Damage to Property.
