The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force are investigating a number of incidents reported between Wednesday 02nd and Friday 04th October 2013 within the districts of Providenciales, including:

(4) Burglary – Preliminary investigations revealed that a black HP laptop computer along with one black computer bag, a sum of cash, one laptop black in color brand name Gatorade, one small grey DVD player and a silver calculator were stolen.

(2) Theft – Preliminary investigations revealed that a wrist watch and a Black Berry Curve 9220 cell Phone was stolen.

(1) Attempted Burglary – Preliminary investigations revealed that nothing was broken or stolen.

(1) Uttering Counterfeit Note – Preliminary investigations revealed that three males entered a business establishment and paid for alcoholic beverages with a single counterfeit $100USD note. When confronted that the money was counterfeit, all three males escaped on foot. Investigations are continuing.

(1) Malicious Damage to Property: Prelimanary investigations revealed that the driver side window of the said vehicle was broken.

(1) Motor Vehicle Interference: Prelimanary investigations revealed that a vehicle was ransacked and the right door glass of the said vehicle was broken.

(1) Assault Occassioning Actual Bodily Harm, during the commission of this crime, a male was injured and later taken to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre where his injuries were treated by a doctor. The male was admitted and remains hospitalized. Further investigations to be carried out in this matter.

(1) Malcious Damage to Property: The Bottle Creek Police Station and a vehicle belonging to a police officer were vandalized. Upon arrival, investigating officers noticed that all six windows for the Police Station were broken. Checks were made inside where rocks and shattered glass were seen on the floor throughout the Police Station, however nothing at present was determined to be missing but a further inventory is being conducted. Further investigations are pending.
