The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) expresses profound sadness at the
passing of NIMROL DEVON BECKLES, a dedicated and longstanding member of the Force.

Mr. Beckles was enlisted in the RT&CIPF on February 25th, 2005. Throughout his distinguished
career, he served in several key units, including the Criminal Investigations Department, Tactical
Unit, Special Branch, as well as in Beat and Patrol operations.


Mr. Beckles was widely regarded as a hardworking, disciplined, and respected officer who
consistently demonstrated professionalism and dedication in the execution of his duties. His
contributions have left a lasting impact on the Force and the wider community.

Mr. Beckles passed away on March 30th, 2026, while receiving medical treatment.


Acting Commissioner of Police, Rodney Adams, stated “It is with profound sadness that we
acknowledge the passing of one of our own. Today, we mourn not only a dedicated police
officer, but also a colleague, a friend, and a servant of the people who embodied courage,
commitment, and integrity. This loss is deeply felt across the entire Force and the wider
community we serve.

to the family, loved ones, and colleagues of our brother and friend. We stand with you in this
moment of grief, and we honour the life, service, and legacy of a true public servant.”
