The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) notes the conviction of Jevano Arthur and Archley Forbes both of Residence Yard, Five Cays, Providenciales, for the murder of Evason Walkin, also known as “Archie” The convictions were returned on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, following a three-week trial in the Grand Turk Supreme Court.

The court found both men guilty of the murder of Mr Walkin, which occurred on October 10, 2024 in the Club Med Yard area of Five Cays, Providenciales. Sentencing has been scheduled for September 21, 2026.

Acting Commissioner of Police Rodney Adams welcomed the verdict, stating:
“These convictions send a clear message that those responsible for taking a life will be relentlessly pursued and brought to justice. While no verdict can erase the pain suffered by the victim’s family, we hope this outcome provides a measure of justice.
I commend our investigators, prosecutors, witnesses, and all who contributed to this successful prosecution. The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force remains unwavering in its commitment to bringing violent offenders before the courts and keeping our communities safe.”
