Officers of the Serious Crime and Tactical Unit executed an Authority to Search for illegal
firearms at a residence on John Grant Street/Bay Road, Blue Hills, on Thursday 2nd April 2026.
During the operation, a male occupant attempted to flee but was quickly restrained by officers.
A search of the home resulted in the seizure of a pistol, several rounds of ammunition and
firearm accessories. All items were secured for investigation.
Both the male and a female occupant were arrested in connection with the investigation.
This matter remains under active investigation.
