Force Flags Lowered

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) is observing a period of mourning
following the death of Stanley Eustace Williams, C.P.M., who was the first local Commissioner
of Police.
To honor Mr Williams’ exemplary service and significant impact on law enforcement in the
Turks and Caicos Islands, Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey has implemented official
mourning procedures.

“Flags issued by the Force are being displayed at half-mast, and police facilities are decorated
with black bows as a sign of respect.”
“Mr. Williams’ dedication and leadership played a crucial role in establishing the contemporary
RTCIPF, and his legacy will be remembered by current members of the Force.”
The RT&CIPF offers heartfelt condolences to Mr. Williams’ family, friends, and loved ones
during this difficult time.
The Force remains united in remembrance, paying homage to Mr. Williams whose service and
contributions to the TCI will endure in memory.
