The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RT&CIPF) continues its relentless effort to rid communities of illegal firearms.  

At approximately 10:30 p.m. yesterday (30th October), officers executed an Authority to Search at a residential structure located along Millennium Highway, Blue Hills. 

During the search, officers discovered two (2) Taurus 9mm pistols, two magazines with ammunition, and an assortment of masks, gloves and other items suspected to have been used in illegal activities. 

A 27-year-old male was arrested and is currently assisting with investigations. 

To date, a total of 21 firearms have been recovered for the year 2025, with this most recent seizure marking the third firearm recovery for October.

The RT&CIPF remains steadfast in our commitment to protect the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands as we continue to take a zero-tolerance stance against illegal firearms. This seizure demonstrates our officers’ dedication to ensuring our communities remain safe.  

Every illegal firearm recovered is one less potential tragedy.
