At approximately 12:20 a.m. on 26 August 2025, Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police executed an authority to search a premises occupied by Jaheim Forbes, a known member of the Five Cays Blue Hills Organized Crime Group (OCG) and a primary suspect involved in the quadruple murder which occurred on 27 July 2025 at Hookah Lounge Leeward Highway, Providenciales.
Upon entry, he retreated to a room at the rear of the house, where he pointed and discharged a firearm at police officers. The officers returned fire, and Forbes was subsequently injured.
Efforts were made to provide medical assistance. However, Forbes was pronounced deceased at the scene of the incident by a medical practitioner.
None of the police officers sustained injuries during the operation.
This incident is currently under investigation.
