The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force officers continue their investigations into separate robberies in Blue Hills yesterday (July 18th) evening.
Shortly after 8 pm, the Police Control Room received a report that four armed males robbed a victim and his companion of personal items and a silver Nissan Dualis.
Officers were dispatched to the location and assisted the victims. Checks were made in the areas for culprits, but no one fitting the description was seen.
Around 10 am today (July 19th), officers received information that the vehicle was found burnt in Snake Hill, Blue Hills.
In the second incident, shortly after 9 pm, officers were dispatched to an area in Blue Hills following a report that six armed men robbed a male victim of his items. The incident occurred in Dacko Yard.
The RT&CIPF is asking anyone with information that may help these investigations to contact the closest police station, 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 8477 to provide any information anonymously.
