The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force Serious Crime Unit are investigating the shooting deaths of two unidentified males in Providenciales. 

Head of Crime, Safeguarding, Public Protection and Intelligence Superintendent Dean Holden said: “Shortly after 8 am today (June 28th), the RT&CIPF Control Room received a call reporting the discovery of two bodies on a track located off Snake Hill. 

“Officers attended and confirmed that there were two deceased males; an initial investigation suggests that they may have died as a result of gunshot wounds. A double murder investigation has been launched. Initial investigations have yet to determine the identity of both men.  

“The first John Doe is dark in complexion and has a low haircut with a single dreadlock to the back of his head. He was found wearing grey boxers and white socks. The second John Doe is  dark in complexion, with a dreadlocks hairstyle, and was found in a black vest, black long pants  and blue short pants, and green and black sneakers on the feet.”  

The RT&CIPF is asking anyone with information that may help in this investigation to contact the closest police station, 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 8477 to provide any information anonymously.
