One male has succumbed to injuries following a motor vehicle collision that occurred today (Saturday, 22nd June 2024).
Initial police reports stated that shortly after 4 am., the Police Control Room received a report of a motor vehicle accident along the Lower Bight Road, Providenciales.
Emergency Medical Technicians and officers of the RTCIPF responded.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers noticed the driver was trapped inside a white Honda Fit. The victim was subsequently transported to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre, where he later succumbed to injuries.
Officers have identified the deceased as 41-year-old Reggie Dickenson of Grand Turk.
The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force wishes to extend condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased for their sudden loss.
The Traffic Enforcement Unit officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the cause of this motor vehicle incident.
