22 YEAR OLD MALE CHARGED FOR TWO OFFENCES

Police officers attached to the Chalk Sound Police Station have charged a 22 year old male of a Lower Bight address on Sunday October 18, 2015 for the offences of using offensive weapons so as to cause fear and Common Assault.

56 YEAR OLD MALE ARRESTED FOR BREACH OF BAIL CONDITIONS

Police officers attached to the Chalk Sound Police Station have arrested a 56 year old male of a The Bight address on Monday October 19, 2015 for allegedly breaching his bail conditions. .

45 YEAR OLD MALE ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY

Police officers of the Royal Turks & Caicos Islands Police Force have arrested a 45 year old male on Monday October 19, 2015 for the offence of Burglary. This is in relation to a report made in September 2015.

24 YEAR OLD FEMALE ARRESTED FOR WOUNDING

Police officers attached to the Chalk Sound Police Station have arrested a 24 year old female of a Blue Hills address for the offence of Wounding. This is in relation to a report made on Saturday September 05, 2015.

BANK ACCOUNT HACKED – PROVIDENCIALES

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police are also investigating a Theft at a bank in Provo which was reported to Chalk Sound Police Station on Monday October 19, 2015.

The complaint reported to the Chalk Sound Police Station that he discovered that an amount of cash was missing from his bank account. Financial Crime Unit detectives have since launched an investigation into the missing money.

Investigation into this report is ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING IMITATION FIREARM INCIDENT

POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in solving an Imitation Firearm incident that occurred overnight Monday October 19,2015. According to reports, shortly after 12am a male entered a business place along Leeward Highway and brandished a long barreled firearm. He did not steal anything nor were any shots fired. The armed man then fled from the establishment in a blue colored vehicle in an unknown direction. No one was injured during this incident.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING ARMED ROBBERY – KEW TOWN

POLICE are seeking the public’s assistance in solving an armed robbery that occurred overnight Monday October 19,2015. According to reports, shortly before 1am a male with a red and black shirt covering his face and armed with a gun demanded cash from an employee at a bar on Norway Road in Kew Town. The employee handed over a sum of cash to the armed male who fired off a single shot before fleeing on foot to the rear of the establishment. No one was injured during this incident.

Investigations are ongoing.
