In light of the increased number of confirmed COVID19 cases announced recently by the Premier, Hon. Sharlene Cartwright-Robinson, The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) will be reinforcing major operational changes. 

Effective immediately, the Police Records Offices will only accept 50 applications on application day. A further announcement will be provided in this regard. 

We will continue to process Investigative Reports i.e., Fire Reports, Missing Document Reports and Vehicular Accident Reports. You will be contacted for collection. 

As previously announced, the public is reminded to avoid visiting Police Stations to file reports unless it is necessary. You are welcomed to call our main station numbers for help. The Grand Turk Police Station is 946-2299, The South Caicos Police Station- 946-3299, The Chalk Sound Police Station 941-8082, The Grace Bay Police Station- 941-5891 and The North Caicos Police Station on 946- 4448. Call 911 as usual for all emergencies. 

Commissioner of Police Trevor Botting said, “We remain committed to serving the communities of the Turks and Caicos Islands, but in a way that is safe for my officers and those we serve. With the recent increases in COVID 19 confirmed cases, I must reiterate the importance of adhering to these policy changes. I will again ask for your patience. We will continue to update the public if any changes occur. I would also like to encourage the public to continue to practice social distancing and proper handwashing”. Policing is a public service centered around direct interactions with members of the public and while it is business as usual for members of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force, you are asked to cooperate with us as we seek to reduce Non- essential face to face contact with the community.
