Police Officers of the Royal Turks & Caicos Islands Police in Providenciales over the weekend arrested 12 persons for various offences ranging from Aggravated Burglary to Handling Stolen Goods.
The two Police Officers who were struck on Friday 15th July 2011 by a vehicle which fled the scene have been released from hospital and are recovering from their injuries. The Police are still appealing to the general public for any information they might have surrounding this serious Hit and Run accident.
The Police in Providenciales have charged a male for Aggravated Burglary, Handling Stolen Goods and Wounding in connection with a report made to the Police on Monday 4th July 2011. This said male is scheduled to appear in The Providenciales Magistrate’s Court # 2 on Tuesday 19th July 2011 at 9.00am to answer to those charges.
