Investigators of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police are asking the driver of a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run early in the morning of Saturday 29th April 2017 to come forward.
Around 4.06am, Police and Emergency personnel was dispatched to the Airport Road in the vicinity of Spot Plaza, where both a 30 year old female and a 36 year old male was found with injuries about their head and body. According to eye-witness, the two was struck by a F150 Ford Truck that was heading West on the Airport Road and turned right into Kew Town.
Both persons were taken to the hospital for serious injuries they sustained.
At this moment, we do not have a proper description of the vehicle, however, we are using all resources available to find the person who is responsible for this and Investigations are ongoing.
Police are “strongly suggesting” the driver come forward.
