Detectives are continuing their inquiries into the murder of Jeens Island Michael Nonhomne which occurred on Saturday 18th June 2016 at the Community Park near the round-about in Kew Town, Providenciales.
On the night of Friday 17th into the early morning of Saturday 18th June 2016, there was a concert being held in the Park, where the victim had been performing throughout the night.
Around 5:48 am that Saturday morning, officers patrolling the Kew Town area were alerted by a resident to the lifeless body of Jeens Island-Michael Nonhomme in the park adjacent to the concert.
As part of the continued thorough investigation, today, two males aged 19 and 29, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. The arrests were made on Grand Turk and Providenciales. The two remain in custody where enquiries are continuing.
It is known that the event was attended by a large number of people. The police would again wish to appeal to the Turks and Caicos Community for any information that they may help solve this murder.
