The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Force is investigating the landing of an illegal Haitian sloop, in the Five Cays Area.
The incident occurred sometime between six and seven a.m. Thursday, January 18th, 2018.
The total number of suspected migrants are not known at this time, however the Police along with Immigration Officials were able to apprehend 12 migrants.
Officers are currently conducting a search of the surrounding areas.
