The Royal Turks & Caicos Police are investigating an Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm incident which occurred in The Bight. This incident was reported on Wednesday January 02nd, 2013 at 11:20AM. A male told officers that he was at his home when he was assaulted by an unknown male after denying a request for money. Responding officers later arrested a male in The Bight in connection with this report. Investigations are ongoing into this matter.

The Royal Turks & Caicos Police are investigating a Theft incident, which was reported on Wednesday January 02nd, 2013 at 4:30PM. A business man of Grace Bay told officers that sometime during the year 2012, he believes a male known to him stole a number of cheques and had them cashed. Responding officers later arrested a male on suspicion of Handling Stolen Goods in relation to this report. Investigations are ongoing into this matter.

The Royal Turks & Caicos Police are also investigating two Burglaries, which occurred in Bottle Creek, North Caicos. 

A male of North Caicos told officers that he secured his home on December 24th, 2012 and returned on December 27th, 2012 to discover that his home had been broken into. Missing was an Apple Ipad. 

A female resident of Bottle Creek, North Caicos told officers that she secured her home sometime in November of 2012 and returned Saturday December 22nd, 2012 to discover that her home was broken into. Missing was one Dell desktop computer, one Stand Fan and a gold chain. 

Investigating officers have made an arrest in these matters and the suspect is now before the courts.
