Update:
Detectives of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have charged an 18 year old male of Grand Turk with Attempted Murder, Wounding with intent and Discharging Ammunition in connection with a shooting report that was made Saturday 17th December 2016 in the Wheeland area of Providenciales.
Around 6:37 am that day, police responded to the Bay Road area where the victim was met and told officers that he just reached home, still sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by an unknown male who fired shots at him. The victim sustained wounds to his arm and parts of his body.
The 18 year old suspect was later arrested on suspicion of that shooting and charged for the offences mentioned.
